Is MicroLaser Peel a chemical peel?

No. Instead of using an acid to chemically exfoliate the skin, MicroLaserPeel uses laser energy to precisely remove a predetermined depth of damaged tissue. This allows the amount of resurfacing to be highly controlled.

How many sessions do I need?

Many patients see noticeable improvement after one treatment. A series may be recommended for more significant damage, or MicroLaserPeel can be incorporated periodically into a long-term skin maintenance plan.

When will I see results?

Once the initial peeling and healing are complete, skin typically looks smoother, brighter, and more refined. Improvement in overall skin quality can continue as the skin recovers.

Is this a good option if I’m not ready for aggressive resurfacing?

Yes. MicroLaserPeel sits nicely between very light resurfacing and more intensive fractional or fully ablative procedures. It allows meaningful surface correction without committing to the recovery associated with deeper resurfacing.

How is MicroLaserPeel different than NanoLaserPeel?

Both use 2940 nm erbium technology, but MicroLaserPeel resurfaces more deeply. NanoLaserPeel provides very superficial exfoliation and a quick refresh, while MicroLaserPeel allows greater correction of texture, fine lines, and accumulated surface damage.
